Today I is off up to Dunblane to see the reason that I started this blog in the first place. I'm off to see Catriona.
This should be a laugh for a number of reasons, the principal one being that we're taking Polly. Catriona likes the idea of our dog, but also likes her not to be in the same room as her. I can understand this, Polly can get... well, slightly excitable. Hopefully it will all be fine, Catriona will be happy to see Polly and that Polly will be well behaved. I shall report back.
The second reason is that Catriona's new au pair will be there. She's German and I know three German words; Ja, Nein and Flughafen (meaning Yes, No and Airport). A practical selection of words, I'm sure you'll agree. Hopefully I'll be able to get by in French, which she also speaks.
The third reason is that my Aunt has a really cool motorized chair, which I want a shot on.
Other than that not much to report. The job situation is really beginning to depress me, there seems to be nothing out there for me. I'm going to look for some temping stuff, but with the state of the country at the moment I'm really not holding my breath.
