What with The Apprentice finishing last night and Ashes To Ashes finishing tonight I will soon stop watching television again, mainly down to nearly everything else being rubbish. I think the wrong person won The Apprentice. The right person was fired at the end of the second last week. Yes, I've poked fun at Debra but I thought she was going to win it. And then she got fired. Yasmina was the better of the two finalists though and she won. Kate was too obvious; how can anyone be that perfect? I don't understand. But let this be a lesson to any Apprentice applicants out there. If you want the job then just lie on your C.V. In the last two series the people that lied on their C.Vs have gone onto win. Anyway, that's enough about that.
I'm off to London on Friday, just for a lovely little day trip. I'm going to the London International Music Show (herein after referred to as LIMS) to walk around with wide eyes. LIMS is where a bunch of manufacturers get together and show off their new products and usually give you a chance to try them out. If you're in the mood for buying then several shops are there with stalls happy to sell you stuff. Think I'm probably most excited about the companies that make/sell drums and a couple of others; Shure, Orange, Sennheiser, that sort of stuff. There are over two hundred companies to work my way through. It's only polite to at least take some interest in each.
It'll be a long day. I'll be leaving at about seven in the morning and getting back at about ten at night and they'll be two - count them, TWO - plane trips in one day. This doesn't bother most people but, as has been well documented on this blog, I don't really like taking off. The rest of the plane journey is fine, just that initial burst of speed. Maybe I should do what Mr. T does; i.e. get someone to knock me out. Probably no blogs between now and then. Unless I can find some stuff that I've been searching high and low for, in which case there may be...
Take care y'all!
