This blog was brought to you by Polly the Spaniel.

I'm trying to post something every day in February and not rely on YouTube, although I will probably break that tomorrow, but that leaves me having to think of something to write today. I spent a lot of time last night thinking about sleeping and dreaming (mainly because due to my dog spending the whole night howling I wasn't doing either) and I thought I would regale you with the tale of the only day that I was ever late for college.

I woke up with the alarm going off, switched it off and lay there with my eyes shut for a few minutes. I then got up, made my breakfast and stuck the T.V. on to catch some news. After breakfast I got washed and dressed and opened the curtains in my living room.
The view out of my window consisted of – among other things - a roundabout and the houses on the other side of the street. Except neither were there when I opened the curtains. There were cars crashing into each due to lack of roundabout and there was just a big empty space where the houses had been.
It was at this point the telephone rang and it turned out to be my then girlfriend, Miss. Smith. She said one thing to me and hung up; that one thing being "You do know you're still asleep, don't you?" I then woke up and realized that I was running late.

This is probably the dream that I remember most clearly, as it just seemed so damn real. Only I would dream about something as mundane as eating breakfast while watching the news. So, that’s my incredibly pointless story.

Keep it foolish!
