A few years ago Dave Gorman hit the scene with a show called Are You Dave Gorman? in which Danny Wallace challenged Mr. Gorman to find 54 other people with the same name as him. One for each card in a deck, jokers included. It was one of the greatest programs the BBC has ever put out. There's a book, but I'm still hopeful for a DVD.
The next thing he did was Dave Gorman's Important Astrology Experiment in which he followed the horoscopes of a number of different astrologers for forty days and forty nights to see if he was made to feel any happier. In order to make this a balanced experiment his twin brother completely ignored all horoscopes. This too was a brilliant show and one bit of it has always stuck with me. Again, as this isn't available on DVD but I managed to track the clip down on YouTube.
