... and I'm sitting here watching The Snowman. Not that it's that long until Christmas, of course.
Shops will be getting Christmas stuff into their warehouses now and put the displays out in mid-October. After Halloween (which will be in full flow about in three weeks) it's Christmas time and you have to get your presents now. And just wait until the Christmas adverts really start.
Being the organized soul that I am I usually get all my shopping in November (online mostly) and go out in late December to somewhere like Glasgow and just watch people running around and talking to themselves. It really is most amusing and I would highly recommend it. Costa do terrific Mince Pies and Hot Chocolate if you do decided to go.

Just out of interest, I noticed the Card Shops in East Kilbride Mall have got their Christmas cards out on the shelves for sale. On the 1st of September.
Shop early for Christmas!
