It always rains on the first day of school and other thoughts.

It's true. Today was Catriona's first day at school (well, nursery really) and it chucked it. Catriona didn't get wet, but I did. Fab.

She seemed to really enjoy it; the first thing she asked me was if she got to go back tomorrow. I can't really remember my playgroup. All I can remember about it was the milk and biscuits, having a nap in the afternoons and a woman called Helen coming to get me.
She's only there for two hours a day except Wednesday, when she isn't there at all. But that should be enough to start with.

And it seems Lorna has got a semi-permanent replacement for me sorted. It's someone that lives in Fribourg who will take care of Catriona during the day and will go home when Lorna gets back, which is good. Everything is falling into place.

In all the excitement of me going home it never really occurred to me that I will probably miss Switzerland, but I think I will. Especially the relationship that I've built with Catriona. We've gotten to know each other really well.

And this is why I shouldn't type a blog without thinking about it first; this post is sort of all over the place.
All that's really left to do is to link a YouTube video.
