While I was in Scotland I was telling my family of my travel plans when I got back to Switzerland, sadly I don’t really have time to do them now.
I had two really good ideas. As I have never been to Germany I had a great plan of getting a train as close as I could to the Swiss/German border, walking in saying something along the lines of ‘Woo-Hoo, I’m in Germany’ and leaving again.
The second good idea was as I have never been to Italy I had a great plan of getting a train as close as I could to the Swiss/Italian border, walking in saying something along the lines of ‘Woo-Hoo, I’m in Italy’ and leaving again.
My Mother-dearest suggested that I should go to a town, have some local cuisine, a look around and then leave. And somehow we got onto saying I should do some sort of dance on the border. The Hokey-Cokey was mentioned. Matthew then reminded me that I once knew that particular tune in French.
The next thing I said was the quote in my 'About Me' section to the right of your screen.
So that's that story. It was possibly one of the most random things I have ever found myself saying, and I thought it was apt for my Blogger account
