I've just heard a song called Hiroshima (B-B-B-Benny Hits His Head) from the new Ben Folds CD Way To Normal. I'm not going to say where I heard it, but it's pretty easy to find.
It is absolutely amazing. Seriously, it's a perfect hybrid of Rockin' The Suburbs and Songs For Silverman. The CD is released on the 29th of September and I will be counting the days until then. Sixty-Four if anyone's interested.
BF has also produced the first Amanda Palmer (of The Dresden Dolls fame) album which is due out on the 16th of September. That's only forty-two days away. That album is called Who Killed Amanda Palmer? and should be really good. Benny plays percussion on it as he's a damn good drummer.
So, buy these albums. You know it makes sense.

It has been too long since the last 'proper' album (Supersunnyspeedgraphic doesn't count!) so I really can't wait until the end of September.
