Lazy Sundays.

I love lazy Sundays. Lazy Sundays means a nice cup of tea followed by pancakes and bacon with maple syrup poured over the top of it. Mmmm, delicious. Of course they are much more tasty if you’ve had a busy Saturday.

After a quick bolt into Fribourg yesterday morning to get some things we loaded the bikes onto the new bike rack on the back of Lorna’s car (so much faster than the roof mounted versions) and headed towards Montreux. It’s on the banks of Lake Geneva, but at the other side of the lake from Geneva’s itself.
We didn’t end up actually getting there; instead we went swimming in a lovely outdoor swimming pool beside the lake. That was lovely too. We were met by Cath and Marius from the bike ride last week at the pool, had a good old swim and then a wee five kilometre bike ride.

We then had the major stress of fitting the other two bikes to the roof and it took us about one and a half hours to get home, not including the stop for dinner.
Dinner was great, we ate in a town that had the scenery that I was expecting from Switzerland; rolling hillsides, a ski resort and a great small town environment. When I remember what it’s called it jot it down.
It was the back of eleven when we got back but it had been such a long day everyone just crashed.

So, as has been mentioned I am half way through the week of looking after Catriona. Things are going well, and then Davos on Friday, which I’m really looking forward to.

More soon probably.
