Late Buses and Small Kites.

My weekend away was good fun. It was great to see everyone again and meet a few new faces.

The weekend started out badly as the bus timetables on the internet were completely wrong, so I had to spend longer than planned in Buchanan Street Bus Station. It's a very boring place, the seats are impossible to get comfortable on and if you do you gently slide off them. After getting to Glenroathes Colin and I just basically hung around, listened to music, watched films and played Xbox. It was fun.

On Saturday afternoon we headed up to Perth on another late bus. We met up with Pip and Norrie and I met Ruben, their fourteen week-old baby. He's a nice wee chap who is just very content. There does seem to be a regular theme of me getting dribbled on by babies and Ruben got me right on the nose. We also headed up to see some more friends who were celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

On Sunday Katie came to Perth with her two year old, Bryony. I'd never met her either and she was incredibly funny. We ran around the North Inch with a little kite she brought along and Colin Norrie and I had a very competitive game of frisbee. My legs are still sore from having to practically run to the Tay. Didn't do much else. We went to Spoons and had a few drinks and some food.

And that was pretty much my weekend. I went by bus to Edinburgh and only got marginally lost while there. But then again, I always get lost while in Edinburgh by myself.

Anyhoo, lunchtime. Bye!
