I had this conversation with a bloke from the AA in one of the shopping centers in Livingston earlier today; I forget what the centers there are called. If you want more specific details this happened outside HMV.
AA Man: "Excuse me sir, do you have breakdown coverage?"
Me: "No."
AA Man: "Ah, do you have a good insurance deal on your car?"
Me: "No."
AA Man: "Er, do you have a car?"
Me: "No."
AA Man: "OK, sorry to have bothered you."
Me: "No problem."
A classic example of 'ask your last question first' syndrome.
