You can’t go into a shop and ask for a quantum of pear-drops.

Having seen the new Bond film I will now give my view on the Jack White/Alicia Keys Bond theme.

Um, I can’t really remember it.

It’s true, it’s so instantly forgettable that I probably couldn’t of hummed it to you as soon as it was over. So much for trying my very best to avoid it. I think the last truly good Bond theme was Goldeneye with Tina Turner singing. I find myself humming it occasionally. I will admit that I’m biased to Goldeneye as it was the first James Bond film that I saw in the cinema. I would love to see the powers that be re-release the Bond films in the cinema, like what was done for the 25th anniversary of Star Wars. That would be super sweet.

I just wish that the 8th of December would hurry up and roll around. I want to see The Dark Knight again.

During the writing of this blog I was trying to remember who did the themes for the other Bronson Bond films and it took me ages to remember who did the them for the stinky shit-fest that is Die Another Day. According to IMDb it was Madonna, who was also in the film. I can’t recall either her song or appearance in the film.
