I feel like I should post a blog as I haven’t done it in a while. Alas I have nothing really to write about as I haven’t been up to much. I also want to write a blog without any HTML or YouTube videos.
I spent the weekend attempting to tidy up my room while finishing unpacking from my brief trip to that fancy London. It seems to me that I really don’t unpack, I just take things out of my bag as I need them. The only reason that I finished unpacking my stuff from Switzerland was that I wanted to take the bag to London.
Speaking of Switzerland I read my ex-charge her bedtime story on Friday. This involved the use of Skype, two webcams and a Beatrix Potter book. My cousin held said book up to her webcam and I read out what was appearing on my screen. Isn’t technology wonderful? And those Swiss bastards have had proper snow.
I have decided that I can start feeling officially festive when the Christmas edition of the Radio Times* comes out. In my house we always end up getting at least two copies (I seem to remember three or four kicking about one year). I remember one year that in the back inside cover there was an advert for a 1:18 copy of Sean Connery’s Aston Martin for the early James Bond films. I just sat for about an hour staring at this thing think “I want this so bad.” A few months later I discovered the joy of drums. Soon after that it was girls, so I got over the Aston pretty quickly.
My point is that the best thing about the Radio Times* is the adverts. They are just terrific. In mid-December expect a blog all about the joys that the Radio Times* is offering this year. For more on festive adverts check back tomorrow.
* Of course, other listings magazines are available.
