Saturday: Full of blood, death and rain. Jings.

On Saturday morning I went to Edinburgh to visit the Dungeons. What fun and high jinx they were. I was even branded a ‘little geek’ by a torturer. In my defense; a question was asked and I answered it. Jings. Besides, I’m a big geek. My one complaint is that it did just sort of stop. As previously noted I went to the one in Amsterdam and there was a definite conclusion to that.

I always forget how nice Edinburgh is. Sadly I wasn’t reminded yesterday as in between getting soaking wet I was busy trying not to get blown away. Jings. It was a tough ol’ slog down Princess Street, but we got there!

While in Edinburgh I picked up a few DVDs, two of which are Cloverfield and Sweeny Todd - The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street. Yet another film with Alan bloody Rickman in it. And as if that’s not bad enough he breaks into song. Jings. Strangely all the Alan Rickman films I own end in the same way, involving the death of someone, and the same will happen again in the last chapter of a series of films.

Cloverfield was good, but I want to find out what kind of camera the guy was supposed to have; it must have really gone through the works. This camera was:
- spattered with blood
- dropped many times
- in a helicopter crash
- in the monster’s mouth
and it still worked after all of them! Jings.

Anyway, both are good films and have the David seal of approval, as do The Edinburgh Dungeons. But wet Edinburgh doesn’t.

By the way, Love Spit Loves version of How Soon Is Now is worth a listen to, as is the original by The Smiths. Just thought I would suggest them...
