In a couple of weeks the new James Bond film comes out. I'm very excited. One thing about it though is that I am going out of my way to avoid the song that goes with the film. It'll have more of an impact on me if the first time I hear song is after while I'm sitting in the cinema with my popcorn/pic’n’mix tub on my lap.
The downside of this is that a friend of my recently gave me a CD which has the song on it. I'm tempted to listen to it, but I'm sure I can wait less than three weeks.
And I got the DVD version of Way To Normal yesterday. Goodness, the DVD's bloody funny. It does mean that I know have two copies of the CD, but I knew I would end up owning them both anyway; I have both versions of Songs For Silverman for example.
Completely unrelated. I have this calendar that is one of those ones where you rip each day off the calendar as it happens and each day has a little joke. I just don't understand Wednesday’s joke. Here it is.
A termite walks into a bar and says, “Is the bartender here?”
Anyone have any idea why that’s funny?

Termites eat wood - the bar is made of wood - the termite may have dental problems and is asking " is the bar tender (soft, easy to eat)here?" Sorry sweetie, had to see it written down to get it!!!! x
Just to let you know, I don't think it is the real Quantum of Solace soundtrack, I think it is just a version that was made. There is another one called "Another Way to Die" by Alice Keys and James White which sounds really good, but I will not give that to you, as that may be the actual soundtrack.
I still don't find it funny...
