I have said twice in the last few weeks something like “I’ll maybe blog about this later” so here they are.
Hash Runners.
Hash House Harriers describe themselves as a “Drinking group with a running problem”. To quote Wikipedia:
“The template for a hash run is loosely based on hare hunting. One or more hashers (the "hares") lay out a running trail, that the rest of the club (pack or 'hounds') follows. The trail may include false trails (check-backs or CB), short cuts (or splits), breaks, and checks (a marking on the trail that requires the pack to search the area to discover the correct direction of the trail.”
And there’s normally lots of alcohol. So it is nothing to do with drugs or anything like that.
EasyJet.
When you book an EasyJet flight you have to book space for your bag in the hold. One 20kg bag costs about £7. If you want to add 3kgs to that bag it costs about £21, 6kgs onto the bag is £42 and so on.
However, adding another 20kg bag to the hold is only another £7. Why not buy a cheap bag and split your luggage between two bags? That will only cost £14 and the price of the bag and you get much more storage space.
I just can’t work it out.
