Wee!

Last week Lorna borrowed a Nintendo Wii from a work friend. What with Catriona’s Granny being here last week I didn’t really want to be really anti-social and hog the television. This week – as I’ve been by myself for most of it – I’ve been messing around with it. I haven’t been playing it today though.

On Tuesday night I was having a rather vigorous game of Tiger Woods’ Golf and really did a bit of damage to my arm. I played Resident Evil Four for all of five minutes before I turned it off like a scared little girl. Driver: Parallel Lines is pretty good fun though.

I know that the Wii’s big selling point is its controller, but I really don’t like it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun. But I’m not going to buy one. The only way I’ll get one is if a Star Wars game comes out that allows you to use the control like a lightsabre. That would be super sweet.

Next week of course Catriona’s back, I leave to get her tomorrow so not much Wii action next week. Ho-hum.
