It's been an odd couple of days. Yesterday I took Catriona into Fribourg, met up with Lorna, left Catriona with Lorna and went back to the house and had an evening to myself. Tomorrow I'm heading out to help Cath (she of the Slow-Up and several marathons/runs etc.) to move house. Sunday is probably going to be my last chance to chill out before I make my journey home. Sunday also marks my 100th day in Switzerland.
Basically, I could sum up this blog by saying 'Nothing exciting to report'. Other than an amazing revelation that I came to today. Allow me to share.
For the last couple of weeks I've had a song buzzing round my head. Not all the time but intermittently. That song is 'I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair' from the musical Oklahoma!. Is it Oklahoma! or South Pacific? Who cares? Anyway, it's been kicking around up there in my brainium and I've had no idea why.
Until today.
One of the programs that Catriona likes to watch (Jasper The Penguin for those that care) has a theme tune that sounds very reminiscent of 'I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair'. It's such a trivial thing, but I'm so glad that I worked it out.

Hey, Your Blog with Limhal (an anagram of Hamill) struck a chord,as he and the guys have reformed Kagagoogoo, and are appearing at the Retrofest in Strathclyde Park this weekend. The interview also had a long session on 'Never Ending Story'. The downside was that Steve Wright did the interview, but, hey, you can't have everything!
