And... Relax.

Well, that was a short-lived disaster. Yesterday evening I went to a department store in Fribourg that stocks Apple products. I knew they wouldn’t have any (they didn’t) but I thought they might be able to order me one up. They did suggest another couple of shops, one of which was still open so I went to it. And lo! They had a couple of the adapters of the type that I needed.

SCORE!

I bought one (cheaper than I would have got it in the UK) and I know have all the European plugs for my iBook’s power supply. Hook that with my UK plug (which wasn’t damaged in the melting) and I can go anywhere in the EU. Woo!

So today I’m off swimming then cycling. Or possibly cycling then swimming; I’m not really sure.
