I went to the shop today for bin bags (bin bags is a really satisfying thing to say in French; le sac de poubelle) and it cost me 42 francs for twenty! That's about £20.25 for twenty bin bags, more than £1 each.
I think that's how the Swiss fund all the recycling that they do. No wonder people dump their rubbish in public bins in town centers...
