Er, hi. I'm David. How are you?
In less than a weeks time I will be flying off to Switzerland for what could be anything up to four months. I have decided to start a blog about my little trip, partly to keep my family and friends informed with what I'm doing, but mainly to document my adventures and the fun of living in a country where I don't really speak the language. I also have next to no child care experience, which is basically what I'm going out there to do.
I'll get more into how all this came about at a later time. I am - however - beginning to worry that I haven't thought this through.

You'll be FINE!!!!!!! Have as much fun as possible, do everything you always wanted to do and do everything you never thought you would!!! I never wanted to go to London and today? London is the best place I could have come to and I'm glad that I threw caution to the wind and DID it!!! I am now one of around 600 people in the UK with a permanent job within the TV/OB industry. That makes me a pretty freakin' happy individual!!!!
